Need for Speed ProStreet is another racing game that is the 11th installment of the game series of Need for Speed. The game was released worldwide in November 2007. ProStreet game includes more than forty cars including a few from American Le Mans Series. It was the 1st PlayStation 3 game with the DualShock 3 rumble support.
The demo of the game was featuring two races, 1: speed challenge and 2: grip race which appeared on Xbox Live on 26th October 2007 for PlayStation Store on 1st November 2007, and for PC on 2nd November 2007. ProStreet was preceded by the previous game Need for Speed: Carbon and was followed by the game Need for Speed: Undercover.

NFS: ProStreet has taken the series in a different direction of gameplay. All of the racing in ProStreet takes the place solely on the closed tracks and making ProStreet the first game in the game series since NFS II that does not animate illegal racing. Here performance tuning feature is enhanced and compared to the previous versions which especially Autosculpt. Unlike the Carbon game, where only certain body kits are auto sculptable and this can be now applied to all body kits which include stock bumpers with wide-body kits.
