The game is set in the 1940s to the early 1950s era of the Empire Bay. It’s a fictional city based on New York City, Chicago, Boston, Los Angeles, and Detroit. There are 30 to 40 vehicles in these games and licensed music from the era. Many firearms from the previous game return, such as Thompson sub-machine gun & Colt 1911, as well as a pump-action shotgun.
Gameplay
These game scenes have been created by the game engine in real-time. For example, if a player riding in the car and the cut scene starts, here the player will be able to drive the same car with the same condition and will be wearing the same clothes.
Preliminary work for Mafia II has begun in 2004 and work on the script began in 2003. This is Originally meant for PlayStation 2 & Xbox releases. These games moved to PlayStation 3 & Xbox 360 in 2005, following difficulties with the developer of the game engine.
